Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Human Resources Manager to lead HR initiatives within the facility. The ideal candidate will have Union and manufacturing plant experience. They will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business goals while fostering a positive workplace culture. This role requires someone with strategic thinker with strong HR skills and proficiency in various HR information systems.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
* Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
* Oversee employee performance management processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
* Maintain and enhance the HRIS (Human Resource Information System) to streamline HR operations. (Use of Paylocity)
* Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations while managing employee relations issues effectively.
* Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to management and staff.
* Collaborate with department heads to identify workforce needs and develop strategic staffing plans.
Skills
* Strong strategic planning abilities to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
* Proficiency in Paylocity
* Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail in managing employee records and compliance documentation.
* Effective HR sourcing techniques to attract top talent across various levels of the organization.
* Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with employees at all levels.
* Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive decision-making within the HR function.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $88,000.00 per year
