Fixed Term Contract - 1 x Day Shift / 1 x Night Shift
Duties / Responsibilities
Work on a variety of processes in the manufacture of a range of office furniture products.
Record quantities of items produced (either electronically or manually).
To follow production operating procedures.
Ensure output targets are achieved.
Check all products made are to the correct quality standards.
Adherence to all factory safety guidelines and quality standards.
Practice good housekeeping at all times to ensure a safe and non-cluttered work area.
Attend any relevant training to cover products, chemicals, equipment and health and safety issues.
Any other reasonable duties as allocated by the management team and commensurate to the role.
Experience / Knowledge
Previous experience in working in a factory environment.
Used to working on with hands / dextrous.
Ability to perform physically demanding work on a consistent basis, includingstanding, walking, and lifting for long periods of time.
Ability to understand and interpret information relating to product manufacture.
Able to understand both verbal and written instructions.
