Developer Relations Lead – Coral Protocol
Role Summary
As the Developer Relations Lead at Coral Protocol, you will be the bridge between our core engineering team and the broader developer community. Your mission is to inspire, educate, and empower developers to build with Coral, contribute to the protocol, and grow the ecosystem. You’ll be responsible for curating high-impact technical content, fostering an engaged community, and scaling awareness and adoption of Coral among developers, startups, students, and enterprise partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive adoption of Coral Protocol through technical content, including tutorials, blog posts, demos, videos, conference talks, and hands-on workshops.
* Increase open-source contributions to Coral’s repositories, supporting monthly release cycles and ecosystem tooling.
* Build an active developer community by nurturing contributors on Discord and GitHub, and supporting them in speaking, writing, or organizing Coral-related events.
* Create programs to onboard students, startups, hackathon teams, and open-source projects into the Coral ecosystem.
* Engage with developers and customers directly, providing coaching, technical guidance, and collecting feedback to share with the product and engineering teams.
* Collaborate across functions (engineering, marketing, product) to align content, community, and product education efforts with broader company goals.
Requirements
* Technical background – you've been a developer yourself or have deep empathy and technical proficiency to speak the language of engineers.
* Experience in Developer Relations, AI, Community Engineering, Technical Evangelism, or similar roles, ideally in the open-source or Web3 space.
* Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to translate technical concepts into engaging, accessible content.
* Data-driven mindset – you know how to set, track, and iterate on KPIs for developer engagement, content performance, and contributor growth.
* Creative – you've run quirky campaigns, organized impactful events, and brought a sense of personality to the developer journey.
* Conflict-sensitive and inclusive – you can handle community moderation with empathy, tact, and respect for diverse perspectives.
* Comfortable in public – you enjoy giving talks, hosting livestreams, or being interviewed by technical media.
* Passionate about open ecosystems and have ideally contributed to or supported successful Web3 or decentralized projects.
Nice-to-Haves
* Experience with AI agents, multi-agent systems or blockchain development.
* Experience as a YouTube or other type of dev content creator.
* Network within developer communities across AI, Web3, academia, and/or open-source ecosystems.
* Experience scaling educational pipelines such as workshops, ambassador programs, or community-led docs.
Location
* We’re looking for a London-based 3 days a week, but open to fully remote for the right person.
