Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Nursery Cook at Banana Moon Day Nursery Hatton, located in Hatton, Warwick. The Nursery Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking balanced, nutritious meals and snacks for children, ensuring high standards of hygiene and health and safety are met at all times. The role involves planning menus in accordance with dietary needs and preferences, managing stock levels, placing orders for food supplies, and maintaining clean food preparation areas.
Qualifications
* Experience in meal preparation, cooking, and kitchen management
* Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergy management
* Understanding of food health and safety regulations
* Ability to plan menus and manage stock levels
* Good organisation and time management skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
* Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications
