Quality Manager - 3PL Environment 6 Month Contract Location: Daventry Salary:£50,000 per annum Are you an experienced Quality Manager with a passion for excellence in the logistics sector? As the Quality Manager, you will lead the site quality agenda, ensuring compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and ISO requirements. You will have a robust understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles and will support the responsible person to cultivate a culture of quality throughout the organisation. What You will need: Strong background in quality management within a logistics or related environment. In-depth knowledge of GDP, GMP, ISO standards, and quality assurance principles. WDA home office licensing. Proven experience in developing and managing quality systems and work instructions. Excellent leadership and coaching skills with a focus on team development. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline or demonstrated equivalent level of knowledge. Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role within a pharmaceutical GMP or GDP environment. The Role: Lead and drive the site's quality culture, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and customer expectations. Provide expert advice and support to the operational team on quality requirements to maintain regulatory compliance. Collaborate with the Responsible Person to fulfill responsibilities associated with licenses and delegated quality activities. Develop, maintain, and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) at the site level, including quality-critical work instructions. Conduct training sessions as an author or subject matter expert to promote understanding of quality standards across the organisation. Coordinate all batch release activities and manage appropriate quality status following returns, investigations, and recall activities. Offer quality support and coaching to various functions within the operation and across the broader business. Work closely with the Responsible Person and business innovation teams to facilitate new client/product integration. Actively participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure seamless product/client introduction and share quality expertise. Maintain necessary registrations, authorisations, and licenses. Prepare for and lead internal and external audits and inspections in collaboration with site operational managers. Assist the Responsible Person in pre-and post-regulatory inspection preparations. Manage product quality complaints, quality incidents, deviations, and CAPA processes effectively. Coach operational colleagues in root cause analysis, CAPA generation, and management to ensure timely completion of investigations. Conduct risk assessments following quality incidents or identified non-conformances. Oversee site calibration, validation, temperature monitoring, and mapping, addressing non-conformances as needed with the Responsible Person and/or clients. Lead the QA team, fostering motivation and development to ensure high performance and quality outcomes. Analyse quality system metrics to identify trends and determine actions for improvement.
