Overview
We are looking for a reliable and proactive Nursery Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the nursery, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for children, staff, and families. T
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve children's nursery teas in line with dietary requirements and allergy policies.
* Tidy and clean the kitchen area, including washing up and ensuring surfaces are sanitised.
* Load and unload washing machines and tumble dryers, assisting with laundry duties as needed.
* Refill essential supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet rolls across nursery areas.
* Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of communal areas.
* Work as part of a supportive team, while also being confident to work independently and manage own tasks.
* Follow nursery health & safety, safeguarding, and hygiene procedures at all times.
Person Specification
* Reliable, punctual, and well-organised.
* Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
* Previous experience in housekeeping, catering, or a similar role is desirable but not essential.
