£30,000– £45,00 base (DOE) + performance & commission bonuses
Are you a technically strong Chemistry graduate with the commercial drive to succeed in a fast-growing, international environment? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic speciality chemicals distributor that has rapidly established itself as a leader in the various sectors and markets including food, animal feed, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a lean, entrepreneurial environment and wants to play a meaningful part in shaping the growth of both established and emerging business units.
You’ll manage and grow customer relationships, uncover new commercial opportunities across the UK & EU, and contribute to strategic decision-making through market research and analysis. This is a customer-facing, high-impact role with exposure to senior stakeholders from day one.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Identifying and winning new business opportunities across multiple markets
* Managing and deepening relationships with existing customers
* Conducting market research to spot trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities
* Monitoring sales metrics, preparing reports, and supporting forecasting
* Creating and delivering client-ready technical presentations
* Representing the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
* Contributing to process improvements, tools, and sales methodologies
What We’re Looking For
* Degree (BSc/MSc) in Chemistry or a related scientific field
* Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability
* Ability to conduct market analysis and support sales planning
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
* High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
* Ability to work independently, including remote working
* Confident producing and delivering professional presentations
