About the role
-Full time – Term time only. Monday-Thursday 08:30 - 15:00 and Friday 08:30-15:30
-Permanent after a successful probation period
-Working with children with SEMH needs
-Teaching Assistant working 1:1 or 2:1
About the school
The school is a SEMH provision, catering for students who are not able to go into a mainstream setting. The school offer fantastic facilities to help with academic, personal and social development. The schools consists of a class Techer per group and Teaching Assistants to work 1:1 or 2:1 with pupils.
The school is located in Redruth and will require a full, clean driving licence as you will often go out and about with students.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEMH Learning Mentor you will:
1. Level 2 qualification
2. Full, clean Driving Licence
3. Full time availability
Key responsibilities
As SEMH Learning Mentor you will be responsible for:
4. Working 1:1 in and out of the classroom
5. Nurturing and supporting students
6. Liaising with other TA's, the Teachers and other healthcare professionals

Salary
£13 to £13 per hour
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
