Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum + Package

Our client, a leading fit-out contractor with a strong reputation in the retail and commercial sectors, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Manager for a permanent role. You will be working on a high-profile £3M retail fit-out project in Dartford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Manager looking to develop their career with a reputable contractor known for delivering quality projects.
Role & Responsibilities:
As the Site Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring the project runs smoothly, safely, and on schedule.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing the construction and fit-out works on-site, ensuring quality standards and specifications are met.
* Liaising with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Overseeing health and safety protocols on-site, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
* Managing and coordinating subcontractors, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
* Reporting progress and key issues to senior management, ensuring they are resolved promptly.
* Maintaining high levels of communication to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably in retail fit-out projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality interiors.
* Strong knowledge of the retail construction industry and its specific requirements.
* Experience working on projects with values ranging from £1M to £5M.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
* Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to implement them effectively.
* CSCS Card and SMSTS certification required.
