About the role
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact.
As a Learning Mentor, you will work directly with children and their families to promote well-being, improve attendance, and foster strong partnerships between home and school.
You will play a key role in:
* promoting the inclusion of all children, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn and develop
* supporting a culture of curiosity, kindness, and high expectations across the school community
* encouraging strong relationships between home and school
* championing regular school attendance and positive engagement
* acting as an Alternate Designated Safeguarding Lead
* liaising with external agencies and leading on safeguarding processes when required.
We are looking for someone who:
* has experience working with children, families, or in an education setting
* is confident in working both independently and as part of a multi-agency team
* is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* has a working understanding of confidentiality, professional boundaries, and child protection.
