Job overview
This post is part of a new initiative within substance misuse, funded by OHID. The post holder will work closely within primary care settings, offering assessments and referrals based on client needs. They will also provide brief interventions within primary care and train GPs and other professionals on alcohol consumption, safe drinking levels, and referral pathways into Recovery Near You.
Main duties of the job
To facilitate service users entering and progressing through integrated recovery-based services and achieving their goals. The post holder will manage a caseload, conduct comprehensive assessments, and provide recovery-focused interventions, including health promotion and low-intensity psychosocial interventions, tailored to service user needs.

Application requirements
* Currently living in the UK
* Experience in comprehensive assessments
* Good understanding of recovery modules within addictions
* Experience in community alcohol detoxifications
