Overview
CDM Site Manager — 6 Months Initially (Long-Term Potential). Field Based - West Midlands (Projects across Midlands incl. Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Birmingham). Working Hours: 8am-5pm, Flexibility may be needed for future projects. Salary : To be discussed. We are seeking an experienced CDM Site Manager to act as Principal Contractor's lead on NERS HV projects, delivering 11kV/33kV contestable works safely and compliantly through to adoption.
Responsibilities
* Discharge Principal Contractor duties under CDM 2015
* Manage Construction Phase Plans, RAMS, and overall site compliance
* Lead HV safety controls including permits, switching, isolations, and SAP/AP coordination
* Oversee delivery of 11kV/33kV cable routes, substations, jointing, civils, testing & commissioning
* Ensure works meet adoptable DNO standards
* Manage inspections, testing, quality documentation & adoption packs
* Act as main site interface with DNOs, clients & stakeholders
Requirements
* Proven NERS HV project delivery experience to adoption
* Strong knowledge of 11kV / 33kV distribution networks
* Experience managing permit-controlled HV environments
* SMSTS, CSCS (Manager), First Aid
* NEBOSH, NRSWA or Temporary Works experience desirable
