V.Ships Leisure is looking for Fitness Instructor on behalf of MSC Cruises. As a Fitness Instructor on board, you are not just teaching workouts you’re inspiring transformation. Your role is at the heart of our wellness program, where you’ll empower guests to stay active, improve their physical health, and nurture their overall well-being during their cruise. Key Responsibilities In a professional, persuasive and friendly way, encourage guests to buy SPA and Fitness services and products. Manage the day-to-day operation of the Fitness area with initiative and creativity. Be on duty seven days each week, at hours advised by the SPA Manager. (Hours will vary according to itinerary). Be on duty always at least 10 minutes before the advertised opening time of the SPA & Fitness area to allow you to make a quick check of the premises before doors are open for business. In home ports (or any other port), be available to assist with the loading of merchandise, and distribution to storage areas or SPA & Fitness area. When the SPA & Fitness area are closed, cooperate with colleagues in the following duties: Stock control SPA & Fitness arrangements Window decoration Possess a complete understanding of all merchandise sold in the SPA. Exercise extreme care with all articles for sale in the SPA & Fitness area. Compliant with all Health & Safety regulations within the SPA & Fitness area. Education/Experience/Qualifications: Fluency in English: You must be fluent in both written and spoken English to ensure effective communication with guests and team members. Experience: A minimum of one year’s proven experience in a similar position, preferably on board a cruise ship or in a similar hospitality environment. Relevant Certifications: Level 3 qualification in Personal & Group Training is essential. Passion for Fitness: You must be passionate about health and wellness and have the drive to inspire others to live healthier lifestyles. Customer-Centered Approach: Ability to tailor your classes and coaching to different guest needs, from beginners to seasoned fitness enthusiasts.
