Are you an experienced HR Manager looking to make a real impact in a growing business? My client is looking for a creative and dedicated HR Manager to lead their people strategy. In this role you will work closely with key stakeholders to drive a positive and high-performing workplace culture whilst ensuring compliance with employment legislation and safeguarding standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures in line with current employment law and best practice
* Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection processes, ensuring safer recruitment standards are met
* Oversee employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, and conflict resolution processes
* Lead performance management systems to drive high performance and staff development
* Support managers with HR advice, guidance, and administration
* Monitor staff wellbeing and promote an inclusive, positive workplace culture
* Manage HR systems and ensure data protection (GDPR) compliance
* Oversee payroll processes and ensure accuracy in line with company policies
* Track staff turnover, absence, and retention, providing insights and improvement plans
* Maintain accurate HR records, reports, and budgets
* Represent the company at meetings, recruitment events, and within the local community
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
* Experience in managing employee relations and complex casework
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
* Be highly organised with strong time management skills
* Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience within Early Years or education settings (this would be desirable)
