Location: South East LondonWhat You'll Do:
As the Head of Estates, you will play a crucial role in the development and delivery of our strategic estates plan. You will oversee excellent service delivery across a large and complex organisation, ensuring a safe, efficient, and sustainable environment for all. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Assistant Director of Estates in strategic development, including capital projects and site condition reports.
Ensuring high-quality, cost-effective services and facilities, including maintenance, catering, and security.
Leading the Estates Services Team to manage property development and facilities maintenance effectively.
Acting as the primary liaison between senior leadership teams and the central Estates Professional Services Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Estates Services Team to deliver a comprehensive estate management service.
Inspire and support team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Develop robust service delivery standards that exceed stakeholder expectations.
Implement college-specific estate development and maintenance plans, utilising specialist software.
Maintain rigorous financial management and accurate forward planning to achieve budget goals.
Who You Are:
A strategic thinker with a proven track record in leading change and performance improvement.
An effective team leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Experienced in managing facilities and contracts with external partners.
Educated at degree level or equivalent with extensive knowledge of the property industry.
