A great opportunity for a proactive HR Officer to join a respected organisation and provide dedicated HR support to a busy site near Thorne. You’ll be part of a wider HR team while owning the day‑to‑day employee journey on site, ensuring a smooth, professional and people‑focused experience.
The Role
• Manage onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, checks and probation reviews
• Maintain accurate HR records, systems and employee correspondence
• Handle HR queries within SLAs and support monthly reporting
• Provide first‑line HR advice to managers and employees
• Support disciplinary, grievance and HR‑led meetings
• Coordinate training requests and appraisal data
• Assist with recruitment administration and compliance
• Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement
What you’ll bring
• Strong communication skills
• HR advisory or generalist experience
• Confident, friendly and approachable style
• Excellent attention to detail
• Self‑starter, comfortable working largely independently
• High levels of confidentiality
• CIPD Level 5 or working toward this.
