Role Overview
The Maintenance & Operations Assistant will be responsible for responding to and resolving property issues quickly and efficiently, carrying out routine checks, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of operations. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to use software applications to track maintenance and stock levels.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to and resolve maintenance issues across all properties promptly.
* Carry out regular inspections to ensure properties are guest-ready.
* Manage and maintain stock levels, including linen, cleaning supplies, and other essential items.
* Work proactively with the operations team to anticipate and prevent issues.
* Use company software and apps to log, track, and update maintenance tasks and stock management.
* Support contractors and external service providers when required.
* Ensure health & safety standards are upheld across all properties.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in property maintenance, facilities, or a similar role.
* Strong practical skills in general repairs (plumbing, electrics, joinery, etc. desirable).
* Organised and proactive, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
* Comfortable using technology and software apps to manage workflows.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* A full UK driving licence and access to transport is desirable.
