Employment Lawyer - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
A leading global law firm is seeking a talented Employment Lawyer to join its highly regarded Employment team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The firm is recognised worldwide for its exceptional breadth of practice, deep industry knowledge, and collaborative “one team” culture.
The Employment team is known for its outstanding reputation and impressive client roster, which includes global financial institutions and blue-chip corporates. The team advises on a broad range of employment matters, including complex litigation, cross-border projects, strategic advisory work, and transactional support. Recent experience has included advising on large-scale restructurings within unionised environments, defending major pharmaceutical and banking clients in employment-related litigation, and providing strategic advice on emerging employment legislation affecting global workforces.
The firm is looking for a high-calibre Employment Lawyer with approximately 3–4 years’ post-qualification experience (or equivalent), ideally gained within a top-tier firm. The successful candidate will have a strong academic record (minimum 2:1 degree), excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proven experience across contentious, advisory, and transactional employment work. They will demonstrate technical excellence, sound commercial judgment, and the ability to build trusted relationships with both clients and colleagues.
