We’re partnering with a well-established business to recruit a Quality Manager who will help drive food safety standards, lead audits, and support a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:
Food Safety & Quality Leadership
* Champion a strong food safety and quality culture across the site
* Ensure compliance with BRC and customer standards
* Track, report, and improve key quality and food safety KPIs
Audit & Technical Support
* Lead customer and third-party audits to deliver strong outcomes
* Support the Technical Manager in delivering site technical strategy
* Lead investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
* Act as a key member of the HACCP team and support food defence requirements
Team Leadership
* Coach, guide, and develop the Quality team
* Set clear objectives, recognise strong performance, and manage issues professionally
* Support succession planning and team development
Continuous Improvement
* Identify and implement improvements across quality, safety, and operational standards
* Use data to guide decision-making and performance improvements
* Support wider site initiatives and technical projects
Essential Criteria
* Experience in a Quality or Technical role within food manufacturing
* Strong knowledge of BRC and food safety standards
* Experience leading audits
* A confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
* Ambitious and motivated, with a passion for food safety and quality culture
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Degree in Food Science, Food Safety, or related discipline
* HACCP Level 4
Desirable Criteria
* Experience in chilled and/or high-risk environments
* Knowledge of TACCP and food authenticity
* Experience with structured problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D)
