The Opportunity
A leading engineering consultancy is looking for an HVAC Site Manager to support the successful installation, coordination, and technical delivery of critical HVAC systems on a major nuclear new-build programme. You’ll act as the essential link between design, manufacturing, and on-site construction teams, ensuring issues are quickly assessed, understood, and resolved to maintain project momentum.
We would also welcome applications from professionals in nuclear, defence, power generation, complex infrastructure, and advanced manufacturing.
This role would suit candidates working as HVAC Engineers, MEP Site Managers, Building Services Managers, Mechanical Supervisors, Commissioning Engineers, Construction Managers, HVAC Coordinators, Technical Leads, Package Managers, or MEP Project Engineers.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
Acting as the on-site HVAC link between engineering, manufacturing, and construction teams to support seamless installation and handover.
Providing technical guidance to site teams, ensuring design intent and installation requirements are clearly understood.
Reviewing and validating technical queries, site non-conformances, and change requests to ensure accurate information, clear justification, and achievable solutions.
Monitoring trends in site issues and proactively advising on mitigation strategies to prevent recurring problems.
Supporting the smooth transition of works through installation, testing, and commissioning activities in line with project specifications.You will have the following qualifications and experience
Strong background in HVAC systems within large, multi-disciplinary or highly regulated engineering projects.
A precise, methodical approach to engineering with a commitment to maintaining high technical standards.
Proven success delivering engineering activities safely, on time, and within project constraints.
Confident leadership skills with the ability to coordinate stakeholders and drive collaborative problem-solving.
Understanding of commercial processes and contractual requirements within major project environments.Get in touch now
