Site Manager Freelance
Brighton, East Sussex
£30m Remediation Project 2-Year Contract
We are currently seeking an experienced and degree-qualified Site Manager to join a major £30 million remediation project based in Brighton, East Sussex. This is a long‑term freelance opportunity offering a 2‑year contract with weekly pay, working alongside an established site team on a high‑profile scheme.
Reporting directly to the Project Manager and working under the guidance of the Contracts Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of both internal and external packages across this complex remediation project.
Key Requirements
* Degree qualified ideally in Construction Management or related discipline
* Proven career history working with Tier 1 Contractors
* Strong experience managing both internal and external packages
* Facade experience would be highly advantageous
* Experience working within live environments and dealing with residents is desirable
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety and site logistics
* IT proficient, including experience using digital snagging platforms such as Fieldview
* Excellent communication and coordination skills
Essential Certifications
* Valid CSCS Card
* SMSTS
* First Aid at Work
The Role
* Overseeing subcontractors and package delivery
* Managing quality, safety and programme on site
* Coordinating logistics and maintaining site standards
* Supporting the Project Manager with daily site operations
* Ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently within a live environment
This role would suit a proactive and hands‑on Site Manager who is organised, technically strong and capable of maintaining high standards across a busy remediation scheme.
