About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to join our growing team based in Manchester. This is a permanent position overseeing commercial and industrial refurbishment projects across various locations. The role will involve managing works on-site and occasionally working away for short periods, depending on project requirements.
Site Manager Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day site operations on commercial and industrial refurbishment projects
* Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour
* Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
* Maintain high standards of quality control and workmanship
* Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
* Coordinate with clients, project managers, and internal teams
* Conduct site meetings and provide regular progress updates
* Manage site documentation, RAMS, and reporting requirements
Site Manager Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial and/or industrial refurbishment
* Strong understanding of construction processes and site management
* Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* SMSTS, CSCS (Manager level), and First Aid (preferred/required as applicable)
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to work away from home for short periods when required
