The Vacancy


What You Will Do

* Promote and uphold Wates’ reputation for providing the highest standards of site safety, health and welfare and protection of the environment.
* Work with our supply chain and surveyors to protect Wates’ commercial position, and the potential for profit and repeat business.
* Develop good working relationships with our clients, design team and supply chain by promoting best practice throughout the whole construction process.
* Develop an understanding in technical practices and sequences on projects.
* Contribute to the delivery of the project on time, on budget and to the required quality.
* Work to ensure our sub-contractors are delivering at the highest standards.
* Develop your understanding of programme/works management.
* Gain knowledge of and utilise cutting edge construction software and technology.

Entry Requirements

* Full UK driving licence – location specific (details below)
* You must have achieved grade 4/C or above in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) and,
* You must have obtained or be working towards a minimum of 2 A‑Levels at grade D or above, or an equivalent qualification, such as:
o Level 3 NVQ
o BTEC
o T‑Level
o Or other comparable Level 3 qualifications.


Locations

* South London – Lambeth*
* Note: Full UK driving licence required for these roles.


Programme duration

This is a 3‑year apprenticeship programme, combining practical experience with formal training. You’ll work towards a Level 4 qualification while gaining hands‑on experience in the industry.
