Key Responsibilities:
6. Providing secretarial and administrative support: This includes typing correspondence (such as clinical letters and reports), word processing, filing, photocopying, and general office duties.
7. Managing diaries and arranging meetings: Team secretaries are responsible for scheduling meetings, managing diaries for team members, and sometimes arranging venues and equipment for those meetings.
8. Handling phone calls and communications: They act as the first point of contact, handling incoming calls, taking messages, dealing with patient and external enquiries, and distributing correspondence.
9. Coordinating and maintaining records: Duties include maintaining patient and staff records, ensuring documents are accurate and confidential, and liaising with other departments on appointments and admissions
What We're Looking For:
10. Experience in a team administration or office environment (1-2 years)
11. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team with excellent organisational skills
13. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
14. Understanding of confidentiality, data protection, and records management
Qualifications:
15. 4 GCSEs including English and Maths (Grade A*-C) or equivalent, or relevant experience
