Hays are working with a public sector organisation to recruit for a temporary Training Administrative Officer.
Your new role
1. Provide general administrative support for speciality training activities.
2. Prepare accurate and well-presented documents using standard software.
3. Assist in organising training events, courses, and related materials.
4. Help coordinate logistics for meetings and educational sessions.
5. Maintain and update electronic records and databases.
6. Take meeting minutes, manage IT setup, and follow up on actions.
7. Ensure a high standard of professional administrative service.
8. Handle iing calls and emails, responding or redirecting as needed.
9. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to resolve queries.
10. Maintain positive working relationships through effectivemunication.
11. Prioritise daily tasks and assist in scheduling team activities.
12. Plan ahead for events and meetings throughout the year.
13. Oversee daily work of others to ensure smooth operations.
14. Monitor and manage stock levels of supplies and equipment.
15. Maintain regular contact with team members and external partners.
16. Liaise occasionally with other training bodies and institutions.
What you'll need to succeed
17. Five GCSE’s (including GCSE English Language and GCSE Maths, Grades A* - C) OR equivalent qualification to demonstrate literacy and numeracy OR Higher Qualification
18. 18 months' relevant experience in an administrative role
19. Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment
