Site Manager – Freelance (London)
Site Manager required to work for a specialist contractor delivering demolition, strip-out, enabling, and early-stage construction works across London and the South of England. This Site Manager role will involve managing complex projects with a strong focus on safety, quality, and programme delivery.
The successful Site Manager must hold SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and Temporary Works, and have proven experience delivering similar schemes.
Project scope includes:
* Demolition & deconstruction – safe removal of buildings and structural elements
* Cut & carve – structural alterations within existing buildings
* Civils & groundworks – excavation, site preparation, and infrastructure
* Structural works – façade retention, temporary works, and structural modifications
* Enabling works – preparing sites for main construction phases
Site Manager responsibilities:
* The Site Manager will oversee technically challenging, early-stage construction projects
* The Site Manager will ensure high standards of health & safety across all site activities
* The Site Manager will plan, coordinate, and manage subcontractors and trades
* The Site Manager will work in live or complex environments with multiple stakeholders
* The Site Manager will deliver projects to programme in fast-paced conditions
