We are looking for someone able to provide a high-quality catering service for children, young people, their families, staff, and visitors to Chestnut Tree House, and patients, visitors, and staff at St Barnabas House.
You will work to planned menus and children, young people’s, and adults' individual needs, liaising with care staff as required. You will prepare catering requirements for events and meetings as needed (buffets, working lunches, etc.). Other key responsibilities are outlined in the job description.
* Experience in all aspects of standard cooking
* Experience in catering for children/young people, including special dietary requirements
* Experience in Food Hygiene regulations and controls
* In Head Cook’s absence, appropriate menu planning for children/young people’s meals, meetings, and functions
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to operate relevant catering equipment
* Able to work on own initiative
* Hold a valid UK driving licence and have use of own car due to location of role
