Job Description
This is a varied and rewarding position offering both operational and strategic responsibilities. You will:
3. Provide expert HR advice and guidance to leaders and staff
4. Lead and coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and safer recruitment processes
5. Manage employee relations cases including absence management, maternity, and wellbeing support
6. Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
7. Maintain accurate HR systems and records in line with UK GDPR requirements
8. Monitor workforce data and provide meaningful reports to senior leaders
9. Support performance management and staff development initiatives
10. Work collaboratively with schools and central teams to promote staff engagement and wellbeing
11. Ensure safeguarding and compliance requirements are consistently met
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for a confident HR professional who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent interpersonal skills.You will ideally have:
12. Experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within education or a multi-site organisation
13. Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
14. Experience managing recruitment and employee relations processes
15. Excellent organisational and communication skills
16. The ability to build positive relationships with colleagues at all levels
17. A professional, approachable, and solution-focused mindset
18. High levels of discretion and confidentiality
