Position
Quality Manager – Telford (Permanent, Monday‑Friday 40 hours).
Salary: up to £57,000 per annum. 25 days annual leave plus statutory holidays and a range of additional perks.
Overview
Prince is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Quality Manager on behalf of a successful, growing manufacturing organisation. Responsibilities
* Take ownership of the company’s Quality Management System, ensuring it aligns with IATF 16949 and meets all regulatory and customer expectations.
* Lead internal audits and quality reviews to assess system effectiveness and drive compliance.
* Manage and develop a team of quality professionals, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
* Provide coaching, feedback, and training to support team growth and performance.
* Analyse operational processes to identify areas for improvement, applying methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
* Track and report on quality metrics, implementing corrective actions to address any issues.
* Act as the main liaison for customer quality concerns, resolving issues promptly and maintaining strong client relationships.
* Work closely with suppliers to uphold quality standards, conducting audits and managing onboarding of new vendors and materials.
* Maintain accurate records of all quality activities and present findings to senior leadership.
* Monitor changes in industry regulations and ensure the business remains compliant, including communication with relevant authorities when required.
Qualifications
* Previous experience leading and managing a Quality function at a managerial and departmental level, including team management.
* Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards and systems, especially within the automotive sector.
* IATF Lead Auditor certification.
* Experience with quality management tools and methodologies.
* Previous experience in a Quality Manager / Quality Supervisor / Head of Quality role within a busy manufacturing environment.
