Salary: NJC Scale 5 £25,583 p/a pro rata
Furness Education Trust is a multi-academy trust based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria serving the Furness Community, located near the centre of the historic shipbuilding town and close to the southern boundary of the Lake District National Park. Currently comprised of seven academies including Furness Academy, Walney School and five primaries, the Trust aims to develop best practice in each school across the whole Trust, by collaborating and working together to give the best of everything to every child. Walney School is part of a growing Trust and due to growth we are seeking a new staff member to join our team to provide the same high quality learning experience that has brought Furness Academy its rising popularity.
We are looking for a Lead Cook to join an established and hardworking catering team at Walney School.

You will:
* Provide nutritious meals to our pupils in line with government guidelines and legislation.
* Prepare and cook meals for our schools.
* Comply with current food safety legislation.
* Monitor and manage stock supplies.
