Position
Customer Services Manager at our location in Bromsgrove; this position is office based.
Responsibilities
In this position, you will support the overall sales targets of Walter Great Britain. You will be responsible for the management of the Internal Sales team, with the aim of further enhancing customer experience and the Walter brand within the industry. You will be responsible for planning, directing and monitoring daily activities to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality customer interactions. As a proven leader in the engineering sales industry, you will develop your team and work setting while ensuring that customer and business KPIs are met or exceeded.
* Proven experience of managing a customer service team within a sales environment.
* Responsible for customer services Internal controls compliance.
* Experience in using SAP or equivalent CRMs related to Internal sales.
* Experience in managing projects related to Internal sales.
* Knowledge and use of Profit/Loss calculations and requirements within.
* Knowledge of Trade Compliance - customs procedures and import/export tax requirements.
* Experience in calculating discounts, profit and loss, use and manipulation of spreadsheets.
* Knowledge of customer requirements and service offering.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Strong IT skills, in particular MS Office 365.
* Skilled in performance management.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
* General IT competencies as Business entity IT Manager (BITS).
* Experience of technical presentation.
* Knowledge and editing of incoming/outgoing NDA documentation.
* Experience of building Internal Controls, Contribution and Compliance.
* Knowledge of Environmental Stewardship - Recycling & Sustainability requirements.
* Exposure to Plant and Asset management.
* Experience of reviewing, deciding and delegating the further processing of exceptional business cases.
* Leading the control and coordination of customer enquiries and support for technically complex issues.
* Track record of coordinating the team members and their development.
* Responsible for generating and implementing improvement projects (continuous improvement).
* Responsible for the performance of employee appraisals, the realization of team goals, and the implementation of target agreements for individual team members according to team and company goals.
* Experience of networking and sharing best practice.
* Knowledge of metal cutting and production technology is desirable.
