What you'll be doing As a Site Manager you will: Ensure that work/contracts are identified, progressed and fully costed Identify the key deliverables from the M&E specification Consider profitability & entitlement for the M&E elements throughout the design and construction process Liaise closely with the Project Management teams to interview and appoint the right M&E contractors for each specific project Maintain business relationships with the M&E supply chain and consultants Manages design process, production of drawings/specification and Operation & Maintenance Manuals Co-ordinate statutory/utility approvals and the programme of installation Co-ordinate the Operation & Maintenance information for project handover Ensure energy targets and BREEAM requirements are met for each specific project Who we're looking for You will have the following: Good understanding of M&E commercial rates across both labour, plant and material Fully understands the brief of the M&E work required within a project Keeps up to date with modern methods of construction Thorough knowledge of M&E installation Has previous experience of Commissioning M&E systems and handovers Has an ability to understand and interrogate M&E specifications Identifies the M&E critical path to ensure the installations meet the construction programme Why work for us Day in, day out, our teams deliver some of the UKs most ambitious, exciting and meaningful projects; developing, building and maintaining the vital infrastructure that supports national economies and strengthens communities.
