Goldex Group is a fast-growing organisation with multiple diverse brands, including: Goldex Gym, Costa Coffee, and Kaspa’s Desserts.

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee all employees in the company and deliver change management projects.

This role is office-based, full-time, 5 days a week.


Duties and Responsibilities

* Manage employee relations, including handling absences, disciplinary actions, grievances, and sickness.
* Confidently liaise with business partners and advise senior staff in a commercially sensitive manner.
* Support the recruitment process.
* Monitor and review HR policies and processes, implementing changes as necessary.
* Oversee staff attendance and absence monitoring.
* Administer employee-related paperwork, such as employment contracts, new starter packs, and formal notices of termination.
* Assist with performance management and review processes.
* Oversee training and development, including company-wide apprenticeships and relevant HR training for staff.
* Liaise with the HR support team via telephone and email to ensure all actions are documented and compliant.
* Handle highly confidential information with honesty and trustworthiness.
* Perform any other ad hoc HR duties as required.


Skills and Competencies

* The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree and have at least two years' experience in HR. A CIPD (or equivalent) qualification is required.
* Passion for people and strong communication skills, especially in business partnering and advisory roles.
* Experience dealing with senior and challenging individuals.
* Ability to build rapport quickly with key executive team members.
* Ability to represent HR within the broader business context.
* Confidence in directing HR activities and advising managers on people management and development.
* Experience managing HR projects such as TUPE or redundancies.
* Strong understanding of employment law.
* Professional and commercial approach to HR.
