The Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead and support all aspects of HR within our organisation. This is a key role where you will work closely with management to ensure our people practices are fair, compliant, and aligned with our values.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and staff
* Manage employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution, ensuring fairness and consistency
* Support and lead the performance management process, including appraisals and development planning
* Ensure compliance with UK employment law, sponsorship regulations, and relevant industry standards
* Review and update HR policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practice
* Support recruitment and onboarding processes where required
* Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement
* Maintain accurate HR records and reporting
* Identifying training needs and implementing targerted development programmes
Requirements
* CIPD Level 5 qualification (or above)
* Proven track record in an HR management role
* Experience within healthcare or social care (highly desirable)
* Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
* Experience managing employee relations issues, including grievances and disciplinary cases
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
