Do you have a passion for delivering high-quality food with heart and professionalism? The Enquire Learning Trust is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Mobile Cook to join our catering team, providing cover across several school kitchens. This is a vital role ensuring pupils, staff, and visitors receive freshly prepared meals in a welcoming environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Preparing, cooking, and serving meals from a set menu
* Supervising staff and managing kitchen operations during cover
* Ordering supplies, checking deliveries, and monitoring stock
* Maintaining exceptional cleanliness and hygiene in all areas
* Upholding policies for health & safety, allergens, and food safety
* Supporting colleagues and fostering positive team spirit
What We're Looking For:
* A current Food Hygiene Certificate
* NVQ Level 1 or 2 in food preparation/cooking
* Recent catering experience and knowledge of school meal standards
* Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
* A positive attitude and commitment to safeguarding
* A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
