The Senior 360 Recruiter will deliver high-touch, end-to-end recruitment services focused on experienced hire delivery (VP-Director level) within the Private Banking (PB) business. Operating as a full cycle Recruiter, the role partners closely with Professional Hiring and Executive Hiring teams, ensuring alignment across experienced hire populations and leveraging the most appropriate hiring channel to achieve optimal outcomes for the business.
The role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, with accountability for driving hiring outcomes that enable PB growth, rather than operating against a fixed role type or hiring stream. Delivery is agnostic to final hire outcome (VP vs Director), with ownership for ensuring a consistent, high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience throughout. Initially project-based through to end-2026, the focus and scope of the role to be adjusted for beyond as business delivery against goals evolves.
Barclays operates on a hybrid model with 3 fixed anchor days in office.
Key Accountabilities
What youll do:
* Actively source and engage senior-level PB talent, in partnership with Professional Hiring and Executive Hiring teams, using direct search, scoping the market, pipelining and, where appropriate, agency support.
* Drive recruitment delivery agnostic of final hiring stream, ensuring consistent assessment standards, candidate experience and hiring manager engagement across VP and Director level outcomes.
* Operate with flexibility and commercial judgment, shifting emphasis over time between deeper direct sourcing activity, agency-led hiring strategies, increased client advisory and demand shaping engagement based on where greatest value and business impact can be achieved.
* Maintain ownership for the end-to-end hiring outcome, supporting hiring managers through vacancy scoping, attraction strategy, selection, complex offer structuring and negotiation.
* Take an outcomes-led approach to recruitment, focusing on hires that contribute to commercial growth, client coverage and revenue generation within the PB business.
* Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset within an AMS framework, proactively identifying opportunities to unlock hiring solutions, improve time-to-impact, and enhance the effectiveness of PB hiring decisions.
* Partner with senior stakeholders to balance speed, quality and risk, adapting hiring strategies as business priorities and market conditions change.
Skills & Requirements
* Proven capability acting as a 360 Recruiter with a sourcing focus, preferably in Financial Services / Private Banking.
* Strong ability to focus on business outcomes.
* Strength in providing High Quality Candidate and Hiring Manager experience, whilst navigating internal processes, and collaborating with teams for different hiring streams.
