About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Operative to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for keeping the site and facilities in excellent working condition, helping to ensure smooth daily operations across the premises.
Key Responsibilities for the maintenance operative:
* Carrying out general maintenance and handyman tasks across the site
* Attending to urgent repair jobs in the factory and surrounding grounds
* Performing routine checks and maintenance on equipment such as AHU units
* Fixing doors, gates, flooring, and other site infrastructure
* Supporting the maintenance team with both planned and reactive maintenance tasks
Ideal Candidate for the maintenance operative:
* Previous experience in a general maintenance or facilities role
* Hands-on, practical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
* Flexible and adaptable with a can-do attitude
* Experience in an industrial or factory setting is an advantage
