Service Care Solutions are working alongside national Financial Advisory firm who are looking for a motivated and talented Payroll and HR Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. Please find a description of this opportunity below.
Role: Payroll and HR Officer.
Salary: £30,000 per year (+company benefits).
Location: Cardiff.
Working: Hybrid/Remote.
Role Overview:
* Minimum 12 months’ payroll bureau experience or handling multiple payrolls simultaneously
* End-to-end payroll processing experience
* Able to work independently with high confidentiality
* Confident handling payroll queries from employees, pensioners, and team members
* Knowledge of auto-enrolment, salary sacrifice, and pension scheme rules
* Capable of manual tax calculations and understanding tax codes
* Experience processing court orders, childcare, and pension sharing orders
* Proficient in minimum wage compliance
* Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Strong communication via phone and email
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Experience with Sage, Profund (P3), Xero, or similar systems (preferred)
* CIPP Payroll Technician Certificate (preferred or willing to obtain)
* Experience onboarding new payroll clients.
