Are you ready to make a real difference in a child’s school journey?
We’re looking for a caring and resilient Behaviour & Learning Mentor to work 1:1 with a pupil in a welcoming primary school in Chelmsford. The role is centred on supporting a child with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, helping them feel supported, engaged, and motivated in their learning.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Providing consistent 1:1 support for a child with SEMH needs.
* Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional resilience.
* Supporting learning across the curriculum in and outside the classroom.
* Helping the pupil develop social skills and self-confidence.
* Working closely with the teacher and SENCO to adapt strategies to individual needs.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience supporting children with SEMH needs (education or similar).
* A nurturing, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
* Someone reliable, patient, and passionate about making a difference.
