Your new companyYou will be joining a multi-sector and highly respected civil engineering contractor based in Birmingham, recognised for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across the UK. Their commitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader in the industry, and as part of their continued growth, they are actively seeking a Site Manager to join their delivery team in the Midlands.
This is a full-time permanent position based in the Solihull area.
Your new roleAs Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day on-site delivery of the project, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to exacting quality standards.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing and coordinating all site activities from mobilisation through to completion
* Leading site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient operations
* Ensuring strict compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
* Driving programme performance and resolving technical and logistical challenges
* Chairing site meetings and liaising closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team
* Maintaining excellent standards of quality, workmanship and client satisfaction
* Promoting a positive, collaborative and solution-focused site culture.
What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must have:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager within heavy civils, ideally on large-scale infrastructure projects
* Track record of successfully managing teams and coordinating site activities
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid
* Full UK driving licence.
