We have an exciting and rare opportunity for a Road Logistics Sales & Customer Service Manager to join our market-leading Road Logistics business unit and play a pivotal role in driving growth across an already successful and motivated sales team. Your Role We are looking for a target-driven Sales & Customer Service Manager who is passionate about achieving results and developing high-performing teams. In this role, you will help us reach the next level of commercial success while ensuring a business environment where our employees can thrive. You will take full responsibility for the smooth running and continued development of our Glasgow branch. By aligning your team with KuehneNagel's strategic goals, you will drive sustainable profit growth and ensure all individual and team targets are met. With your strong background in sales, commercial management, and people leadership, you'll influence, support, and inspire your team to deliver outstanding results in a dynamic, target-focused environment. How you create impact Ensure revenue and consignment growth, achieving or exceeding the Branch budget. Deliver training and coaching to your team to continually strengthen our sales capability. Provide outstanding internal and external customer service at all times. Monitor consignments to guarantee exceptional service standards throughout the customer journey. Prepare weekly and monthly sales activity reports. Build and maintain a strong understanding of all Freight services, administrative procedures, and operational processes. Regularly review processes, identify improvement opportunities, and champion continuous improvement within the branch. What we would like you to bring Solid experience and knowledge of Overland / Road Freight operations. Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role within a target-driven sales environment. Proven background in sales, commercial activities, and people management. Strong customer focus, with demonstrable stakeholder management and networking skills. Excellent influencing skills and commercial awareness within a competitive industry landscape. Ability to build meaningful relationships and confidently negotiate internally and externally.
