COSS Site Manager

Location: North West

Salary: Competitive + Vehicle

Contract Type: Permanent

We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our Rail & Infrastructure division at Ground Control. This hybrid role offers the best of both worlds - a mix of home working and time on-site - as you help deliver a range of arboriculture projects across the North.

What You’ll Do

1. Support the Contracts Manager with day-to-day project delivery and site operations.
2. Carry out regular site audits and inspections to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
3. Manage workloads effectively, providing leadership, guidance, and support to field-based teams.
4. Scope sites, prepare task briefs, and price works accurately.
5. Use digital trackers and IT systems to plan, monitor, and report project progress.
6. Engage confidently with clients, ensuring satisfaction and proactive communication throughout.
7. Plan possessions efficiently to minimise disruption and maintain productivity.
8. Oversee project delivery, resolving on-site challenges quickly and effectively.

What You’ll Bring

9. Proven experience as a Site Manager with an arboriculture background.
10. Safety and management qualifications such as SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH, First Aid +F, and COSS.
11. Strong IT skills, confident using digital systems for tracking and reporting.
12. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
13. A proactive, safety-first mindset and strong client relationship skills
