Role Overview
Arrow's Global Components is seeking a Quality Manager for the EMEA Aerospace & Defense sector. In this role, you will support and maintain the Quality Management System in line with customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Support and maintain Quality Assurance System data
* Manage 8D responses: liaise with customers on quality issues, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions
* Complete First Article Inspection Reports
* Conduct fault trend analysis
* Create quality metrics and KPIs
* Collaborate with sales teams and distribution center personnel
* Support new business activities with the sales team
* Participate in continuous improvement projects
* Ensure adherence to customer requirements, standards, and regulations
* Monitor QMS effectiveness and suggest enhancements
* Prepare for and facilitate customer audits, document findings, and oversee corrective actions
* Analyze processes for improvement opportunities
* Work professionally with customers and suppliers
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer and regulatory expectations
* Generate reports on KPIs and quality metrics
Candidate Profile
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a Quality Management role within Aerospace & Defense
* Knowledge of AS9100/9120 standards and quality management principles
* Strong understanding of aerospace industry regulations
* Familiarity with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, CAPA, 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams
