As a MEICA Site Manager, you will oversee the safe and efficient delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) works within civil engineering and water sector projects.
You’ll be accountable for:
MEICA installation and commissioning
Technical documentation (e.g., ITPs, RAMS, commissioning plans)
Cost, time, and quality control
Team leadership and subcontractor coordination
Client relationship management🔑 Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise MEICA work on-site
Prepare and manage technical documentation and QA records
Coordinate with M&E engineers for testing/commissioning
Manage construction programme and 2-week lookaheads
Interface with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
Drive cost control and risk mitigation
Deliver quality reports and manage KPIsđź“‹ Essential Requirements:
Strong MEICA and civils background in a regulated environment
City & Guilds 18th edition (2382-18), AM2, and relevant electrical qualifications
CSCS card, IOSH/SMSTS, Temporary Works Coordinator
Degree or HNC in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
Experience managing teams and subcontractors
Ability to read/interpret P&IDs, prepare commissioning strategiesâś… Desirable Qualifications:
CEng MICE or equivalent chartership
Inspection & Testing certifications (2391-52)
LV/HV training
Experience in water utilities and WIMES standards
Primavera P6 knowledge
Thames Water Passport, EUSR card, CP1/2 (Confined Space)
