About you Experience working in a data protection, information governance or compliance role Strong knowledge of UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018 and related legislation Experience developing and implementing policies, procedures and governance frameworks Ability to manage data breaches, subject access requests and FOI requests Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise stakeholders at all levels Relevant qualification (e.g. IAPP, GDPR certification) or equivalent experience What you'll do Lead on data protection and information governance compliance across the organisation Act as a key point of contact for data protection queries and advice Manage data breaches, investigations and reporting requirements Oversee Subject Access Requests (SARs) and Freedom of Information (FOI) requests Develop, review and implement data protection policies and procedures Deliver training and awareness programmes to staff Conduct audits and risk assessments to ensure ongoing compliance Support senior management with governance reporting and regulatory requirements For further information on this opportunity, or any other position in Belfast or wider Northern Ireland, please apply via the link or contact Conor Birch in the strictest confidence.
