Company Description

Panthera Biopartners is an independent Site Management Organization (SMO) that collaborates with pharmaceutical and contract research organizations to find the right patient for the right trial at the right time. The company operates its own dedicated research sites, which are designed to ensure patients have a professional and superior experience. Panthera specialises in recruiting patients for clinical trials in primary care therapy areas such as cardiac disease, oncology, migraines, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, and diabetes, to name a few. Utilising innovative digital technologies, Panthera aims to make clinical trials more accessible and ensure that emerging technologies are at the core of its strategy. All professional staff at Panthera sites are GCP trained and have extensive experience in running clinical trials, providing timely and accurate data.

Role Description

We're looking for a proactive Talent & HR professional to lead end-to-end recruitment across the business, from defining role requirements and crafting job descriptions to sourcing candidates, managing the selection process, negotiating offers, and enhancing our employer brand. You'll ensure a professional and engaging candidate experience while tracking key recruitment metrics.

Alongside this, you'll own and continuously improve the onboarding journey, creating a seamless transition from candidate to employee through effective documentation, induction, and probation processes, while maintaining accurate HR records, supporting policy compliance, and contributing to engagement, wellbeing, and learning initiatives.

There may be a requirement to work across local Panthera sites as required from time to time.

We're looking for a proactive and ideas-driven individual who takes initiative and looks for ways to improve how we attract, onboard, and support our people. You'll be organised and detail-focused, with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach, building trusted relationships across the business. Curious and solution-oriented, the post holder will bring fresh thinking to recruitment, onboarding, and day-to-day HR processes, helping to create a seamless and positive experience for both candidates and employees.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition (c.70%)

* Own the end-to-end recruitment process for all roles, acting as the main contact for candidates and hiring managers.
* Collaborate with managers to scope role requirements, create accurate job descriptions, and advise on market conditions.
* Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and networking.
* Conduct CV screening, initial interviews, and provide shortlists to managers.
* Manage candidate communications to ensure a professional and engaging experience.
* Negotiate offers and manage pre-employment checks.
* Maintain and develop the company's employer brand, including careers site, recruitment campaigns, and careers events.
* Track and report on recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, candidate feedback).
* Ensure recruitment strategies are aligned with organisational priorities, escalating any strategic concerns or significant recruitment issues to the Head of HR as appropriate.

HR Support (c.30%)

* Prepare and issue contracts, offer letters, and onboarding documentation.
* Support induction and onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
* Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems in line with GDPR and employment law.
* Assist with HR policies, compliance, and reporting requirements.
* Support engagement, wellbeing, and learning & development initiatives.
* Handle all candidate and organisational information with strict confidentiality and in line with data protection regulations.

Requirements

* Strong interest in HR and talent management.
* Proactive and enthusiastic, with a willingness to learn, take initiative, and build networks both internally and externally.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Confident using Microsoft Office applications and comfortable learning new systems.
