Hours: 30 per week
Salary: £14.92 per hour
Shift Pattern: 07:45am - 6:30pm, working Thursday, Friday and Saturday each week

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook to join our kitchen team and help deliver nutritious, well-balanced meals that support the health and wellbeing of our residents.
Key Responsibilities.
As a Cook, you will assist in preparing and serving meals that are both nutritious and enjoyable, catering to a variety of dietary needs. Working closely with the Head Chef and care team, you’ll ensure that every meal is made with care, quality, and attention to detail.
Prepare and cook meals in accordance with planned menus and dietary requirements.
Ensure food is presented attractively and served at the correct temperature.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
Support with stock control, food storage, and kitchen organisation.
Follow food safety regulations and internal policies.
Build positive relationships with residents, taking into account their preferences and feedback.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience as a Cook, ideally in a care home, healthcare, or hospitality setting.
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate preferred).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A caring, respectful approach to working in a care environment.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
