The opportunity could be right for you. The business is a chilled food processing company seeking someone to manage daily interactions and logistics with key customers to ensure outstanding service and delivery. The role involves:
* Building strong relationships with customers and managing orders and inquiries.
* Communicating customer developments to internal stakeholders.
* Capturing and processing customer orders and contracts.
* Managing export contracts and documentation.
* Aligning planning across the business and completing execution and reconciliations.
* Coordinating with customers and hauliers for collection and delivery.
* Processing customer invoicing.
* Managing customer queries and complaints.
* Providing management reporting information as required.
* Supporting the wider supply chain team with operational matters and strategic projects.
We need a people person who enjoys working closely with internal colleagues in sales, marketing, finance, production, and the supply chain team.
This is a successful and profitable business with growth plans. The previous person in this role was promoted within 2 years.
Requirements: Experience in a customer-focused logistics role within manufacturing, food, or FMCG sectors. Salary circa £35-40k plus benefits.
This role is home-based, with 2-5 days of travel per quarter for meetings.
