Site Manager (Planned Capital Works)
Brighton
Full time - Permanent - 42.5 Hours per week 8am -5pm
£45,000 per annum,- Plus Van and Fuel Card
Wiltshire House is a high-rise residential purpose-built concrete framed structure with brick infill panels, projecting concrete bays and upper parapet details with much of the external façade clad with a EWI in 2009/10. The Client's objective is to makes safe the external fabric with the contractor to undertake repairs to detached sections of EWI. Repair carbonation to concrete detailing. Replace concrete copings for pressed aluminium, replace damaged panels to common area screens to include ventilation grilles and redecorate the entire façade to all elevations.
About the Role:
Manage the day to day operational delivery of planned work/s contract and all associated staff and ensuring contractual KPI's targets are achieved and maintained.
Manage and monitor work programme progression and completion via ongoing site visits to ensure works are adequately resourced, being effectively delivered to set quality standard and completed on time and within budget.
Management of employees and sub contractors, ensuring compliance and adherence to H&S regulations, Mears standard operating procedures & values, quality assurance accreditations, CDM and the company's commitment to best practice with legislation, codes of good working practices relevant to all work activities.
Provide quotations for work, manage costs during work, ensure final accounts are completed accurately and to budget and information input is timely and accurate in support of this.
Provide good management of employees' performance, ensuring HR Policies & Procedures are followed.
Ensure the customer experience is central to all activities by adopting a professional manner when communicating with all stakeholders, this includes but is not limited to appearance, company ID, maintaining a high standard of Health & Safety requirements.
Follow and support policies, procedures, initiatives and work instructions at all times and keep all supplied company assets in a good condition in line with the company policies, reporting to your Manager where damages occur.
Undertake any other duties as required by the company, provide back up to other site managers to cover any absences and attend informal and formal company & client meetings and training sessions as required.
Role Criteria:
* Relevant experience working with buildings over 18 meters.
* Understanding and experience in external wall insulation and concrete repair.
* Previous experience in a managerial role
* SSMTS accreditation
* Knowledge and experience in social housing
* Good Communication skills
* UK Full Driving licence.
* Current CSCS card
