This 42-week contract will focus on the removal of gas-fired heating systems and installation of new hybrid HVRF and ventilation systems, while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations and working operations. Project Overview The project forms part of a wider programme todecarbonise the estateand will involve: Removal ofgas boilersused for water and space heating Replacement of redundantHVRF system Installation of newhybrid HVRF systemsacross multiple floors Careful planning to ensureleast possible disruptionto building users Key Work Elements Decommissioning and removal of redundant HVRF system serving the ground floor Decommissioning and removal of existing ground floor ventilation system Decommissioning gas boilers and central hot water calorifier, strip-out of redundant boiler room plant and making good Draining down and removal of redundant LTHW radiators throughout the building Supply and installation of newMVHR ventilation unitsto ground-floor ceilings, including grilles, diffusers and weather louvres Supply and installation ofnew hybrid HVRF systemsto serve ground floor and unserved first/second floor rooms Installation ofnew LST radiatorsto replace removed LTHW radiators Installation ofsemi-storage local water heatersto replace central hot water system provision Responsibilities Overall project leadership and delivery management Programme planning and coordination of trades and subcontractors Stakeholder management including liaison with DWP representatives and site users Ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance at all stages Quality assurance, progress reporting and commercial control Maintaining operations continuity with minimal disruption Requirements Proven experience as a Senior Site Manageron building services/M&E or decarbonisation projects Strong knowledge of heating, ventilation, and hybrid HVRF/MVHR systems Excellent planning, coordination and communication skills Experience working inlive/occupied environmentspreferred Ability to manage complex programmes and multiple workstreams SMSTS, FIRST AID, CSCS REQUIRED Whats on Offer 42-week Project - you will be running from start to finish Opportunity to deliver a high-profile public sector decarbonisation project Salary up to £85,000 plus package DOE If you have relevant experience and are interested in leading this project, please apply with your CV or contact us for further details.
